Now the Balmoral, I knew it as the North British; built as a railway hotel. Late Victorian. Background Unlike several Blippers, I've never stayed in it. 

Early swim. Rain all morning, much needed by all the plants. A fine afternoon. 45 bus to Abbeyhill, passing by the hotel. Walked back by the New Town and the West End.
