Big and Little
Today we had special visitors. Finn's parents drove up from Wellington to spend the day. Finn was eating cake so couldn't put his boots on at the same time as grandad. Finn has new gumboots for his trip to the farm. We all went to feed the hens and Finn collected the eggs. He was delighted by the hens and followed them all around their enclosure throwing pellets to them. He didn't slip over and didn't hesitate when grandad put him inside their coup to pick up the eggs. He gently passed them to grandad to put in the bucket. He went for a drive to the neighbours to see the deer in the paddock. After dinner he was put into his pyjamas ready to go into the car and should sleep all the way home. It has been an exciting day walking around the farm and having new experiences.
No blip yesterday. We went into Masterton and had our booster at the local pharmacy. Today my arm is tender and I feel a little less than my usual self. We had a very enjoyable lunch with the only people we know in Masterton and I had intended to take a picture of the tiny house but I stayed talking and the forester delivered the wood. The owner was happy and gave him a tour. It was too tiny for him.
Child Of Mine Carol King
Although you see the world
Different from me
Sometimes I can touch upon
The wonders that you see
All the new colors
And pictures you've designed
Oh, yes sweet darling
So glad you are a child of mine
Child of mine
Child of mine
Oh, yes sweet darling
So glad you are a child of mine
