Phew

Just went to upload and thought I'd not taken any photos but thankfully found this one. 
Had my hair cut for holiday then went to buy a loaf of bread and ended up spending £58 ffs. Tbf I did buy a bikini for the holiday. Yes a bikini. I've not worn one since 2004 and that was a tankini really. I used to wear bikinis all the time but age and body changes plus vanity and fear have prevented me for nearly 20 years. I could make this into a very long post about body image but I cba atm but I will say I'm becoming more and more angry at how so many of us, men now as well as women, and all ages, are so fucked up about what we look like rather than who we are and what we mean to people. When I hold the anger I can feel more able to challenge and wear the bikini. Obviously once we’re on holiday it might be another story  but I want to do it because I don’t want to be controlled by such a pathetic fear. 
And the sun shone.
