Today was a long day. The weather was lovely though. I went on a time management course and managed to turn up (only 5 minutes) late. Great start! It was work training but the trainer encouraged us to look at our wider goals for our lives and think about what we want to achieve in our personal lives too which was useful and interesting.

Afterwards I went on a leisurely walk across Roundshaw Downs towards where I live. I got distracted and ended up climbing the hill to where you can get a view over most of south London and even some buildings in central London on a clear day.

I also met some friendly horses and saw what I think might have been a kestrel. I saw this butterfly and two others on a path leading out of the south end of the downs. I stopped for a while to take photos, then got a little disorientated trying to find home. I got there eventually though via a few more interesting places.

It's Friday tomorrow then I'm off work Monday-Wednesday next week, spending some time in the countryside where I hope to get some interesting photos and see some lambs. Life is looking good.
