Very happy performers

The subject matter of the performance was quite sad but afterwards I spoke to some of the cast and you could tell they were dead chuffed and happy with what they were doing. And so they should be. It was excellent.

Now I'm guessing I'm ok having taken this picture of the performance - there was no announcement made about not being allowed...

I went to the Cochrane Theatre in Holbon tonight to see the Chickenshed company perform " as a mother of a brown boy..."

It was quite powerful. The set was excellent. It's a true story about a 19 year old who allegedly participated in an attempted robbery on Tiffany's in Bond Street. He was killed by a police vehicle when it knocked him off his motor scooter.

Sorry this really is a not a happy blip - after three days of happiness what has happened. But as I say the cast were real happy. It was interesting hearing how they had looked up some of their dance moves on YouTube.

A little bit more about it here.
