AF - RT*M
Have done a fair bit of macro recently and not been entirely happy with the AF. To be fair, bees and other flying critters tend to be quick and random, so it is a massive test of any AF system.
I watched a YouTube Video where Canon's AF system on the R5 (and similar on other mirrorless and DLSRs) was explained by a Canon Technical Support technician. A few things are not quite as I expected, and also, some AF features don't work quite in the way you'd expect.
Did some brief testing exploration of the knowledge learned, and, while there is no wizardry that provides perfect images every time, the hit rate is somewhat improved. It takes an awful lot of widgets all lined up and working together to make things a little easier, quicker and less frustrating.
