Riot

So hard to choose a photo for today. On my short walk I passed through summer meadows ablaze with colour and full of chittering crickets. I discovered a sleepy slowworm in my path, that paused just long enough for a photo opportunity. I walked through shady woodlands. And then I came home and spent the afternoon on a furniture painting project I have been meaning to start for years. I am so proud of the results so far - there will be photos of it in future!
