Recovery is painfully slow, only made more tolerable given the wall-to-wall TV coverage of The Open, one of golf's premiere events (many say the best) and it's 150th anniversary, being playing at no other than the 'home of golf' St. Andrew's, Scotland. It has been riveting with fan favourite Rory McIlroy jointly leading the field with 18 holes to go tomorrow.

Mrs.K has been out all day as she's heavily involved in the School Fun Day and then straight off to babysit our three grandchildren. What a day! I'll see her sometime.

Millie pups has been fed and walked plus washing done and dried so essentials getting sorted.

This panorama is the main route into Bristol from the north (right of picture) along the A38 at Filton, passing by the Airbus factory, pubs, shops etc.
