Took Buddy out for a hack this morning. It was nice and cool in the woods. I'm struggling a bit with pain in my left ankle. He's throwing me off to the right a lot so I have to be very conscious of it and keep adjusting my position. 

The kids had a lesson at lunchtime. Jack was really well behaved despite the heat. Both him and Buddy had a bath after being ridden and Jack stopped in for the afternoon as his stable is a bit cooler. I'm really worried about them in the heat of it's going to be as hot as forecast. Unfortunately we're away but Kerry has said she will go and hose them off for me which is really nice of her.
