Rose-of-Sharon ( Hypericum calycinum )

Another shot taken "on the walk to the bins".  Considering the round trip is only 300 or so steps it is amazing I find something to blip almost every time I do the walk.

I gather this plant isn't called Rose-of -Sharon in all countries.  Apart from the wonderful colour the fact you get both the flower and the red berries at the same time is interesting.

The Bumblebee is a buff tail.  The slight brown mark between the white and black marks it out as such.  White-tailed Bumblebees have a clear divide.
