'Thank you Marshall!'
It was a lovely morning for parkrun first thing. Bev and I met up in the village and walked down to Bingley to set up the course and to enjoy the peace before the park got going. We had several parkrun tourists and a few first timers, much good humour and excellent support from the volunteers, as usual. This little girl called out, 'Thank you Marshall' as she went by, she was loving being a part of it.
If you look closely you can spot Tony waiting to time in the finishers.
Afterwards, when all the equipment was stowed, we joined several of the parkrun team for a cuppa at Lavinia's before heading home. I dug out an old sheet and created a canopy for Shep to shield her from the heat of the day which seemed to do the trick, then Tony and I spent an hour in the allotment picking the soft fruit.
After lunch it was on with processing my photos from the morning and it was then time to prepare dinner around a few household jobs.
