A Fine Kettle…

…o’ Geraniums! 
We came back to the boat at lunchtime, popping into the Gargrave Art Exhibition on the way - fabulous works of art of a very high standard from the village art group. 
After a bite to eat I planted the flowers I bought yesterday. I’ll need to keep them well watered in this heat.
Which brings me to the hosepipe - the bane of my life - why do they always kink? I have a fight with it every time I use it. It was bought as a
‘No Kink Hosepipe’!

Bloody Hosepipe!

There’s nothing worse in my world
than a hosepipe with a kink
you get to the end of the garden
the plants are desperate for a drink
but all you get is a dribble
then a drop and then it stops
It happens every time I use it
bloody hosepipe makes me strop
I wouldn’t mind but do you know
this hosepipe is a special ‘No Kink’
I think I’ll go back to the watering can
At least the plants will get their drink!
