This impressive samba band with its own dancing puppet  came to help celebrate the 20th birthday of  POINT, our local  youth centre which does a sterling job to support, entertain, protect and guide  the young people of the community. Despite being chronically strapped for cash it provides recreational activities and learning opportunities that keep kids involved and off the streets, and helps them make constructive choices for the future. It's sobering to think that its earliest clients could have children of their own attending now.

Inside I spotted this chart (extra) pinned to the wall. There was another one about keeping safe on line that we  could all benefit from.
