Substitute

Our local “world” market store is out of Mc Vitie’s. Quelle horreur! However, in addition to Peek Frean’s or Burton’s - not sure which and not a fan of either - they had these, from Spain. Why not, quoth I. Turn’s out the Spanish do a mean digestive - not quite as crumbly, but very tasty and almost spicy. That must be the Latin flavor, or it could be that I ate a bunch of Jalapeños with my supper. Either way, a good fall-back choice.
