The salad bowl

Boulogne's Saturday morning market is a joy. Whilst there are commercial sellers there is also the local farmer selling the products that s/he might have grown in the garden and it is these we go for. Onions, lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, radish all beautifully presented as well as cheese, homemade butter and pots of jam. Of course we have a lot of these in our own garden but l wanted a few things to tide us over for supper once we were back at home.
Getting back home was a breeze, it took exactly 2 hours 35 minutes from the time we drove the car onto the train until we pulled up outside our flat in London.

The weather is beginning to heat up - 32 predicted today and up to 40 tomorrow and Tuesday.
