Choosing plants that encourage insects of all kinds is becoming more and more important to us on the nursery.
Despite the ramblings of a certain arse on the BBC gardening programme most of the annuals for bedding out, baskets or containers are beneficial and we need to get this message across.Perennials we try to pick varieties that are also beneficial to a wide range of insects.
With this in mind we are venturing south for the next three days to look at some of the latest varieties and trends in the plant trials.
