Scotland v Japan

A long day at work and much-a-plenty rain confined me to the house tonight so I was a bit stuck for a picture.

I decided to capture a bit of a dilemma I'm currently having.....my favourite malt is the exceedingly perfect Islay on the right but I got a Japanese one (Nikka, on the left) from my son who swore it would make me question my blind love of the Scottish grain.

Now I don't profess to be a connoisseur but the Japanese one is delightful and I find myself having to keep trying both in an effort to determine a winner.

I'll let you know when I've finally made a decision!!
