Jurassic Unravellings
Cycling through the park this afternoon squeezing in my 5km (for the 5x50 Challenge), I spied these ferns unfurling their fresh fronds in the late afternoon sun.
Ferns always make me think of ticks but I love this stage - before they grow to tower above you and make you imagine prehistoric life hiding in the depths...
Neighbours came across me kneeling/almost lying low down trying to get the right angle..
Maybe I just need my bed! It's been a long week!
