Cairngorms Land Management Forum

Today Melanie Smith and I were lucky to have an invitation to the Cairngorms Land Management Forum organised with Scottish Land and Estates. We met in the ballroom of Glen Tanar estate in Deeside. It was a beautiful day to drive over and nice to see fishermen up to their chests in the Dee. There were some really interesting talks, including possible solutions for tick management and a new approach to commercial carbon offsetting to generate revenue for peatland restoration. Many interesting projects too for students to get involved in. Then home to get the boys for running club. A good day.
