Line Up!

Early afternoon we set off from home on a cycle ride into Monmouth following the River Wye downstream. What struck us wa how quiet Symonds Yat and Monmouth were; maybe people were heading the advice to stay home with temperatures 30C and more in the next couple of days.

At Monmouth bridge I spotted the row of Canada geese? making a straight line upstream. It seems too many to be a family so could be a friends and family daytrip!

We enjoyed a coffee in Monmouth before heading home, again shocked how few people were about for this time of the year.

The daughters dogs we have this week are suffering the heat and happy to just lounge around and sleep. Mrs BB was up at 7am to take them for a walk and we may pop out again about 9pm.
