Third time

Cut the blooms of the zinnias today as I could see more buds forming plus the blooms in the house were on their last gasp. They lasted three weeks so I was happy to have more. Keeps me from having to buy grocery store flowers.

A hot humid day but no rain. Even though we had some rain recently it is already very dusty at the bare patches in the yard. The grass in the side yard did not come back up when we had no rain for almost a month so next spring or maybe this fall we will try to reseed that area.

A trip to the plant nursery for flowers for areas where they have died out. Maybe marigolds. I don’t think the deer eat them.
