Leigh Sports Village

We wanted to see at least one match of the Womens’ Euros. Sweden v Portugal seemed a decent way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

In the end it was a bit of a procession from Sweden, disposing of Portugal 5 - 0. But it was good fun and the atmosphere was all good natured and friendly.

The town of Leigh has put a lot of effort into these events, so fair play to them.
