Morning Swim

It was too good not to be in the water this morning so I headed down to Derwentwater for a swim.

I did think that it might not happen as the car parking was a bit of a nightmare but thankfully I managed to find a space.

Suited up, it was off to the first island and back.. and a brilliant time was had.

Afterwards I got chatting to a fellow swimmer who was going to swim to the other side and back. "How far is it"? The reply 1.6km each way.

Mmmmmmm now that might just be a juicy challenge!!
