an adventure on the canal

We spent the day on Blue Rover near Red Bull on the Trent and Mersey Canal, great fun and lots of locks.

Gratefuls:

1. Welcoming friends;
2. Well behaved children;
3. Cold drinks.

I can’t claim the day was without mild drama. A mole had perished at Janet’s and I couldn’t leave it in the middle of the lawn to house maggots. I discovered I’m not as squeamish as I look - though I did contemplate giving in to the desire to avoid ick.
