Weaving threads on a loom
Our host David weaves the most beautiful cloth. Here are the threads that are currently lined up on his loom.
Mr hazelh and I stayed at David and Bella's house until just after lunch, then headed back to Edinburgh by car. We carried with us an interesting cargo: two wicker chairs, cushions, a small table - and a big bucket of horse manure! We delivered the furniture to Dalry for Bella and David, then took the manure home with us to add to our compost heap.
We used the sat nav to find our way to the exact location in Dalry. Someone had not changed the mode of transport on the sat nav from bike (from our holiday) to car, so we ended up returning to Edinburgh by a rather bizarre route. It wasn't until we were told to take the cycle path across the Meadows that we realised exactly what was amiss.
As soon as we had unpacked, we mixed the manure into our compost, and then checked whether we have managed to produce any potatoes. The answer is in the extra.
Normally we would have then cooked our supper and eaten it outside, watered the garden, rung Mummy hazelh, and watched television. The evening didn't turn out this way. I should be able to explain the reason why in tomorrow's blip...
Exercise today: some walking (7708 steps).
