14 today Happy Birthday Molly

Two and a half years ago I didn't think she would see her 12th Birthday with the vets diagnosis of Kidney disease, and all the special food she was supposed to have which cost a fortune and she refused to eat, so we decided what the heck let her have what she wants if she hasn't long to live, but here she is bless her, living at the moment on a diet of corned beef, and salmon and trout cat treats, Lidl sliced corned beef no other will do. But at her age she can pick and choose and I don't care. We will love her to the end and beyond.
This is her favourite place on the bed.

Been a bit warm today but we have survived up to press and I am sure we will survive the next couple of days or so. Like my son said when he was in Egypt it was 45 some days and they managed. 
Keep cool, drink plenty of liquid (not alcohol) A tip from the chap on the tele tonight was first thing while it's still cool open all your doors and windows to let the cool air in for about 15 mins or so, then shut everything up and close your blinds on the sunny side close the doors and keep the heat out and the cool in.
cold showers too if you get too hot.

Today the ants that live under the greenhouse step came out with wings and decided to fly off on their courtship flight, they were soon gone and left a lot of ants running about in all directions till they got things back to normal
