Hotting up

I have spent much of today keeping cool indoors after we had friends drop by for a coffee.  The other two spent the day getting the solar power working in the van and finishing the insulation in the walls.  I was surprised to see it was showing as 30C in the shade at 3pm and keep hoping that the drama in the forecast will not actually be as bad as they say.  We have ventilated the house this evening to bring in the last of the cool air before the onslaught.  The bugs are out and biting .. I was punctured by something this evening.. I suspect a horsefly which is not helpful with the oncoming heat.  I usually react really badly to bites so keeping everything crossed this one wont be a problem.
