Awfie bonnie

I like to think I know the name of quite a lot of trees and plants and the odd flower but there are quite a few in this garden which I have inherited that i'm not sure of.

This is one of them. I googled it and think it is probably an azalea. The plant has waxy, shiny leaves and big pink flowers.

I'm sure there weren't any flowers on it last year so the cold, long winter must have been good for it as it has quite a few already this year.

Of course you know what flower is another name for ?!!!! (very appropriate for our opening night!)
