Departure point

No sign of any heatwave this morning as I dropped Mrs Rex off at Waverley for her trip down to Harrogate. Rather grey with spots of rain dampening the spirits although it was a bit more colourful the other side of the road (extra). I might see her again on Tuesday as long as the rail tracks don't melt in the heat. What is it with the UK and weather? Snow falls and the country grinds to a halt, rain falls and it can barely keep its head above water, the sun shines and it overheats.

Makes you wonder how the rest of the world copes...
