Frayed Loyalties....

While i was out walking zoe, thro the back streets of Aylmer at lunch time, came upon this very tattered Canadian flag in someone's backyard... the image was interesting to me because, so many people over here fly the Canadian flag - and here was this one, so old and tattered - seemed a bit disloyal somehow!!
but then again, maybe i'm reading something into it and the real story is much more sentimental - like it was the flag someone's great, great granddad hoisted - anyway, i like it with the effects from my first venture into photoshop land!!!
i was trying to remember if people back in Britain had the same desire to fly the British flag.... it seems to me that there wasn't... maybe i'm wrong and just didn't notice when i still lived there!!! (i was pretty young and had my sights set on other more interesting things!)
