Wet, Wet, Wet

Last night we had lots of thunder and lightning, which has carried on today as well.  Only 3 of us met to go for a walk, we ended up at a local cafe instead.  I took this photo as we were walking towards town.  It was great to catch up with The Boss from Tussock Tales, as well as Chris (in photo).

Home for lunch.  After lunch I had a stroll down to the lake, so have clocked up 10K steps, all in the rain, which wasn't too bad, as there was no wind, which made walking much easier.  Town was super busy, as all the local ski fields were closed due to snow and high winds!  Sounds like winter to me!
