Full Moon

With a beautiful full moon, some nice clouds and no wind I decided after midnight to see how the Sony Cybershot performed in moonlight. It actually takes 6 exposures when the shutter is pressed to iron out camera shake and weaves them into one image - quite amazing.

Later in Photoshop I made some adjustment to the curves to emphasise blueness and added a poster edges filter. Now it would have been really special if a local cat had climbed that tree or an owl had flown on to a branch, but maybe if I get hooked on night photography I'll hit the jackpot eventually!
