Beating the Heat!

It was a toss up for an early walk in the park or the lake again! The lake won as it really feels so refreshing to be near a body of water during a heatwave. It only takes 15 minutes in the metro to get down to lakeside at Ouchy, just below the city of Lausanne. My nearest metro stop is just two bus stops away!

The metal sculpture looked very lovely in the morning light. I usually only take partial shots of it, like on the left where it's framing the little sailing boat.

On the lower left is the first ferry of the day coming over from France.

Today, we're expecting 33-34C and tomorrow anything from 36-37C.
Cooled water is in the fridge and when I need to go out, it's always with a bottle of cooled water. All the blinds have been down since the sun started to show its first rays coming over the hill!
