Dahlias

Named after a Swedish botanist, Andreas Dahl, introduced from Mexico and South America. Hundreds of varieties bred from wild species.
The lower flower is called "The X Factor" flowers normally 15cms across but a bit smaller this year. I like the smaller flowered types.
