After the crash

Drove around 8.15 pm from work homewards when i received the news from Sisiter that my parents survived a carcrash. We knew that dad s driving was sometimes not ok, i mean he drove always slow but made sometimes a wrong judgement.As far till now no accidents. But allas it happened. They  were on their way home returning from a restaurant when dad was approaching the red light. He wanted to push the break pedal but his foot slipped somehow and got stuck on the gas pedal ( accelerator?). So with a speed of 60KM/ h he was approaching fast and wanted to avoid a head on collission. He saw a small sideway, drove off but decided not to make aturn a sthe car would probably tumble. They hit a wall. Dad climbed out of the car with first feeling nothing. Mum had a lot of pain because of the impact. They did cut the roof and took her out.Luckily no internal bleeding, mum has no broken bones or so. Dad has 6 broken ribs and a broken sternum. Lots of pain ofcourse but as dad has been in military whole life he didn t show he has pain. He said it is ok maybe only one night in observation and that s it. But it will be a longer stay and that s what we want. Whe arriving there both looked amazingly good but dad knows, driving days are over and he can accept.
So it is really a miracle nothing worse happened. Thanks for the army of guarden angels.i ll post a link from news paper to show the pic of the car.
