Life with one blue stick…

Lunchtime was my date to see the nurse. She was very happy with my wound. All she had to do was remove the wrinkled up plastic dressing, snip the end knot of the dissolvable stitches and a quick spray of artificial skin and I’m good to go. I had a look when I got home and there’s not really much to see at all. A very neat, quite short scar which no doubt will fade even more. My good looks are preserved.
Fellow blipper GuernseyGirl had very kindly given me a lift up to see the nurse and she suggested we might extend out trip to get an ice cream. I was delighted with that idea and opted to head for the north of the island.
We stopped off at a few of the popular beaches which were all packed with people enjoying the sun and sea. As is normal over here there were a few diversions around ‘Road Closed’ signs and then we finally had our ice creams at Bordeaux where I took this pic.
Sometime my single crutch came with me when I got out to take photographs, other times it stayed in the car. But really it seems to have outlived it’s usefulness.
