Blakeney Postcard

I got up early this morning to try to lower the temperature in the bungalow a bit - I only lowered it by 1.5C, but every little helps. I drove over to Blakeney early to have a short, slow wander and see the high tide mentioned in his blip by JohnRH (who I bumped into with W) before it got too hot and the 28C at 10:30 was more than enough for me. It reached 33.7C per my weather station this afternoon, and it sure felt that hot.  The indoor temperature 'only' got to 27C as I kept all windows and curtains closed, but that's still very uncomfortable and unfortunately it's likely to be 22C minimum overnight. It's forecast to be even hotter tomorrow, but thankfully that's the last heatwave day.
