Weed

This little weed has popped up growing up from within the midst of one of the mounding cacti. I had no idea it wasn't one solid mass of cactus. This little asteraceae is quite an opportunist, and a sweet little flower in addition.

Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, Helen the feline typing assistant, Tonks and Joey. the kitten and pup who actively enjoy playing with the baby, Captain Cat, who is to lazy to move out of the baby's way to her delight and the beauty in the world.
