Fire Prevention

Last night a neighbour had posted in our street FB page he could see smoke coming from the Linhouse Circular. I was headed there on evening walk with H and caught 6 of the young team lighting fires in the dry grass.

I gave them a telling off and they had the audacity to deny it. Twats!

This evening there were 2 pumps and a truck but I could see or smell any fires and didn’t want to interrupt the lads working.

Today, I took H for an early morning walk before it got too hot. I got attacked by swarms of flies.

I went for. Lunchtime 5km run and got attacked by swarms of flies.

After dinner I went for a 6km walk round Linhouse Glen and got attacked by swarms of flies.

I swear it was the same ones.

It’s been hot hot hot today. Some might even say a heatwave.
