A hat sort of day.

A hat was essential. We’d a walk after breakfast. Very warm here as forecast, record breaking day for many. Old friends dropped by. They were passing on their way east, we’d a cold drink indoors and an impromptu catch-up.

We spent a bit of the afternoon on the bench under the tree after they left. And then indoors.
