Balderhead Reservoir and the heat

Here are Chris and David on the shores of Balderhead.  Balderhead is the highest of three reservoirs that feed Teeside. You can see it's getting low.
I went home late morning and spent the day keeping cool, like most of us here in the UK.
Our old garden thermometer read 44 degrees at around 5pm, the digital thermometer was 1.5 degrees less, so yes, it's been hot here in North Cumbria. I hope you're all ok?
