It's so hot .............

MONDAY

Another day for staying indoors with the curtains closed and the fan running. Temperatures outdoors were in the lower 30ºs in the shade and in the upper 40ºs in direct sunlight.

I tried to see if it was hot enough to fry an egg on the tarmac driveway this afternoon but after an hour the egg had hardly cooked. 

I've 5,000 steps under my belt just from walking about in the house, fetching the recycling and watering the pots and hanging baskets. Not even going to think about my 10,000 step target.
