Sjøtorp, Gøta Canal

Since Karin could not cycle along the canal as planned, we went to Mariestad, at the huge lake Väneren, Swedens largest lake, to take a stroll in the old town, before we drove to Sjøtorp for lunch and watching the boats travelling through the locks.
Back to the pension at Lyrestad, Ingrid and I, rented bikes and cycled to Hajstorp, seven kilometers along the canal. Icecream and coffee there, before returning to Lyrestad. Nice dinner and wine in the saloon afterwards.
