Post work swim

It was absolutely unbearable in our summerhouse today. I started work at 7 to get some work done before the heat really hit. Jon did the same, going in to Norwich early. Being in all his motorcycle gear, adds to the heat horribleness. I don't know how he does it. When he got home he changed straight into shorts. But then was plunged into our office sauna.

So we were only too pleased to log off at 4.30 and head down to the beach at Cromer. I was focused on getting into the sea for a swim. Mollie joined me and we both had a lovely swim. It was warm. An hour was all we needed, then home to cook dinner - Thai green curry today.

I received a lovely thoughtful gift in the post today. A pack of cards for our caravan. Thank you to my lovely friends who sent this to us. It means a lot, and you know who you are xx
