Strava Day 414**
Today, am grateful for deciding to join part of Faith's birthday celebration somewhere in Tinambac (one of the towns in our province). There was no signal and since I do not have a power bank, had to reserve my phone's battery by intentionally missing some of the moments and also not "escaping" with a headset.

Apart from Faith's husband Choy and one of their household helpers (forgot his name), was the only other adult in the trip. Had to endure the kids' whining (was reminded of the film "Are We There Yet") and teasing while at the same time enjoyed learning their interests. Apparently, Kray (Faith's son), Zach (Letlet's older son) and T are all into Minecraft while Alex seemingly enjoys exploring new stuff and still has an affinity for food. He enunciates his words in gristly Tagalog and speaks louder than everyone (in T's words, "Alex, overpowered us again).

They played volleyball, a version of MMA, sang videoke and even had a mini-pageant (which I found hilarious). Asked Kloud which country is he supposed to be from and he said "Canada!" T is supposedly from Singapore. Zach initiated a "balancing contest" which I joined.

We almost got stranded in the farm as it rained hard around 6 PM. Everyone in the passenger seats, including myself panicked. The kids were saying a lot however what stood out for me were two things. T's sense of gratitude and his sarcastic humor:
T: I hate mud! I wonder how Peppa Pig endures it.
****
T: Am so thankful we're still alive....
