Renaturalisation

Our local river is being "renaturalised".  This involves the removal of an old weir and reprofiling of the river bank.  It also involves the dumping of tonnes of stone and boulders onto the river bed!  We are promised that all this work will yield a large increase in biodiversity.  Time will tell.
