Summer nights

We have taken to walking in the evening, enjoying the (relatively) gentler warmth and the late evening light. Tonight we head to Eavestone Lake.  Situated amongst beautiful gritstone cliffs these lakes may have been medieval fishponds for Fountains Abbey. We see hares in the fields heading home and driving past Brimham Rocks we stop to see the last rays of sun over the rocks.
Grateful to live in an old and relatively cool house right now!
