Proverbs

"Let sleeping dogs lie"
There are many excellent proverbs but this is not one of them!
I don't think anyone/anything should be encouraged to lie. The truth is usually the best thing, or if that is hurtful, say nothing.
Anyway, how could they tell a lie when they're sleeping?
Also, dogs don't talk!
