It was an incredibly wet and stormy day and as we neared Motueka late this afternoon dispersing clouds and fascinating light greeted us as the sun was sinking towards the Western Ranges.

I wasn’t in the driving seat when I took this photo looking through the windscreen of our car!


A special thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s Split Apple Rock. Only a couple more days and the family will be returning to Wellington and I will have more time available to catch up with you all.

Covid update
Statistics for all of NZ - 10772 new community cases, 788 in hospital, 21 deaths
Nelson Marlborough - 345 new community cases, 15 in hospital, 4 deaths.
The Ministry of Health is changing the way Covid-19 deaths are reported. The change is for people who died from Covid, and where Covid was a contributing factor in their death. Previously, those who died with Covid and not because of Covid were included in the daily death statistics.
