The Gardener's Cottage

In West Princes Street Gardens. This used to be the Head Gardener's Cottage for Princes Street Gardens, but no one lives there now. Just as well as the crowds would drive you mad.

I was in Princes Street Gardens for my photography group's AGM and picnic and we then did a photo shoot on the theme of light and shade as it was such a sunny day - whereupon the sun went in, of course. It did come out again later but I wasn't feeling very inspired, so chose this photo instead.
